When it was learned we believed "No more Princes, no more Peasants, all mankind has the right to a seat at the table of life and prosperity..." The wealthy and their church-sponsored minions attacked us and martyred us by the thousands.
Usually by boiling alive.
Over 500 families fled to America - you know them now as Amish or traditional (buggy) Mennonite.
Our first sponsors, the Zehr's and especially our first teacher and spiritual leader, Mister Carl Zehr, are among the traditional Mennonite.
